Our course progresses smoothly from Level 2, covering
Writing, Response to Text, Research and Oral Communication.
It is possible for students to be assessed at Level 2 in most topics if they wish to gain more Level 2 credits. We will offer Shakespeare in one class if enough interested students can adjust their timetables to suit. Some preparation for Scholarship can be undertaken in the Research topic, and additional tutorials will be offered after school and/or through video-conferencing. |

| Why this course? |
| The study of English develops literacy, language knowledge
and thinking skills which are important in most jobs and
have life-long benefits. It is required or recommended
for entry into many tertiary courses. Any students considering not taking English are advised to check that they have gained the literacy requirements for University Entrance and have strong skills in reading and writing to assist them in any future courses they might wish to take at tertiary level, and in the workplace. |
