This course caters to students who are strong Mathematicians and are fluent in Algebra. Students looking to study Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences (including Medical Sciences), Computer Science, Surveying, Engineering, Finance and Business in University should be taking Level 3 Calculus. The course is divided up into five achievement standards (1 internal, 4 external) covering aspects of Mathematics such as derivatives, integrals, differential equations, real and complex numbers, conic sections and trigonometric functions. Students can gain up to 24 credits (4 internal, 20 external) in this course. |
