| Students will need to have gained a minimum of 10 credits from within the re-aligned Achievement Standards course of 2011. There may be consideration given to a student who has followed a successful alternative pathway. These cases will be individually decided after discussion between the Student and Caregiver, the Teacher in Charge and the Head of Learning Area. | |

In 2011 the NZ Technology Curriculum introduced their modified NCEA Level 1 Achievement Standards. This year the re-alignment is being applied to NCEA Level 2. Here at Wakatipu High School we welcome these changes as we see the delivery and assessment of these Achievement Standards as being our best tool to encourage, challenge and engage our students.

| There is a set cost of $55 to cover student consumables and basic materials. However as the Technology Process encourages individual outcomes, some additional material cost may result. |

| The aim of this course is to broaden each student's technological knowledge and practice while at the same time stimulating the creativity that lies within us all.
