In Level 1 Digital Infrastructure and Electronics you will study basic ideas surrounding Digital and Electronic components and the implementation in real world applications

Topics taugt include:

  • Real World Applications: Application of Electronics and Digital devices in the real world.
  • Computer Hardware:Common hardware components of digital devices
  • Electronic components and concepts: Concepts used in the design and construction of electronic environments
  • Developing a conceptual design: developing and modeling electronic systems for a given brief
  • Assemble, Program and Implement an electronic and emnedded system

Assessment

This course aims to offer a programme of study covering both theoretical and practical components of Digital Infrastructure and Electronics. The course provides the opportunity to gain 18 credits at level 1.

Requirements for entry into Level 2

To gain entry into the Level 2 Electronics course a student must gain at least 9 credits at Level 1.
